Target Audience: Primary Practitioners

Outcomes: Enhanced understanding of the knowledge and skills required to use retrieval strategies and introduce brainbreaks using foreign languages.  Familiarity with a range of strategies, resources and activities to use in the classroom for retrieval practice and brain breaks.

 

1+2 Methodology –  Introducing phonics

The session aims to help practitioners to: examine the place of phonics instruction in learning a foreign language.  Investigate a range of strategies, resources and activities that can be reused straight away in the classroom.

The session aims to help practitioners to: examine the benefits of using songs and stories in teaching foreign languages.  Investigate a range of strategies, resources and activities that can be used straight away in the classroom.

1 + 2 Methodology - Using Sentence Builders 

Target Audience: Primary Practitioners

This session aims to help practitioners to: examine the benefits of using sentence builders to support learners with all 4 skills (Listening, Talking, Reading and Writing).  Investigate a range sentence building strategies and resources that can be reused straight away in the classroom.
