Provisionally Registered Teachers (PRTs)

This year’s cohort of primary and secondary provisionally registered teachers (PRTs) shared the findings of their practitioner enquiries on Tuesday 19 May.

45 PRTs presented to elected members of the PKC Learning and Families Committee, senior Education and Learning leaders and other invited guests.

Each PRT demonstrated a depth of knowledge and understanding of Research and Engagement in Practitioner Enquiry (GTCS Standard 2.1.2) through themes including:

• Nurturing approaches and promoting wellbeing;
• Improving literacy and numeracy approaches;
• Using Assessment is for Learning strategies to support learners.
